What this is

This page lets you listen to unreleased demos and tell nimino which one you would like to hear finished. The first 100 people to choose have their choice recorded. After that, voting closes and the running total stays visible to everyone.

This is not a competition, sweepstake, prize draw, lottery or contest. There is nothing to win. No purchase or payment is necessary or possible, and taking part gives you no advantage, entry, entitlement or reward of any kind.

Your vote is advisory. It is an expression of preference. nimino is under no obligation to release the track that receives the most votes, to release anything at all, or to act on the result in any way.

You receive no rights in the music. Voting, listening or signing up gives you no ownership, copyright, share, credit, royalty, licence or interest of any kind in any recording, composition, artwork or video on this page. All of it stays the property of its owners. The recordings here are unreleased and are provided for listening on this page only — please do not record, copy, download or share them.

What we collect

When you vote we store three things:

• the email address or phone number you type — whichever you chose, never both;
• which track you voted for;
• the date and time.

We do not ask for your name, address, age, payment details or anything else, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this page.

What we do with it

Your email address or phone number is added to nimino’s mailing list so we can tell you which track won and let you know about new music and shows. That is the only reason we ask for it. We do not sell, rent or trade your details.

The list is run through Laylo, which stores and sends the messages on our behalf. Their terms and privacy policy apply to that part. Vote records are stored separately on our own infrastructure.

Texts and emails

By giving your phone number you agree to receive marketing text messages from nimino at that number, including messages sent by automated means. Consent is not a condition of any purchase — there is nothing here to purchase.

• Message frequency varies, and is typically a few messages a month.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
• For email, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message.

Opting out is immediate and permanent unless you sign up again. It does not remove your vote, which stays counted anonymously in the total.

How long we keep it

Vote records are kept for as long as the round is on display, and are deleted or anonymised within 12 months of a round closing. Your contact details stay on the mailing list until you unsubscribe, after which Laylo retains only what it needs to make sure we do not contact you again.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the UK or the EU, you also have rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR to object to processing, to restrict it, and to receive your data in a portable form. Our lawful basis for sending you messages is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

If you are in California, you may request disclosure or deletion of your personal information and opt out of its sale — though we do not sell personal information.

Age

This page is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their details. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will remove them.

Changes

If we change this page we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
